Compliant with IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wave 1 Wi-Fi standards, the AP operates simultaneous dual-band coverage across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radio bands. It is built with a 4×4 MIMO radio architecture with three spatial streams, delivering a maximum aggregate wireless throughput of up to 1.3 Gbps to support high-bandwidth applications including video conferencing, cloud services and high-user-density office environments.

This access point adopts a flexible modular hardware platform, which supports optional add-on expansion modules for advanced spectrum analysis, enhanced wireless intrusion prevention (wIPS) and spectrum monitoring functions. Integrated Cisco CleanAir Spectrum Intelligence actively detects, classifies, locates and mitigates non-Wi-Fi RF interference to stabilize overall wireless performance. Cisco ClientLink 3.0 with vector beamforming optimizes signal strength, throughput and battery efficiency for legacy 802.11a/b/g/n/ac client devices. Cisco High-Density Experience (HDX) technology reduces cross-AP noise and optimizes intelligent roaming to maintain consistent wireless experience under heavy concurrent client loads.
Hardware interfaces include one 10/100/1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 uplink port and one dedicated RJ45 console management port.
